Opening Remarks

GITCon 2022 kicks off with initial remarks from our team as well as a run-through of the schedule for the day.
Keynote Speech
9:00 am - 9:30 am
The conference will begin with a keynote speech where attendees will have the exciting opportunity of hearing from a leading woman working in the field of technology, learning about her experiences and her work in tech.
Icebreaker
9:30 am - 9:45 am
Girls will get a chance to connect and interact with other attendees, getting to know each other through a fun activity!
Workshops
9:45 am - 12:00 pm
From 3D design to Virtual Game Creation, GITCon 2022 will feature a range of exciting new workshops. Learn more here.
During their lunch break, attendees will have the opportunity to attend a Q&A session with a leading woman working to diversify the field of technology. In this interview format, participants will be able to have valuable conversation with a role model and have all their questions answered.

Women in Tech Panels
2:15 pm - 3:15 pm
Our Women in Tech Panels allow attendees to speak with prominent women working in a variety of roles within the technology space. From FinTech to Game Design, these brilliant speakers are making great strides within the field of technology, and are excited to share their experiences with participants.
Prizes
Prizes will be granted to participants who demonstrate their learning and creativity through the workshop activities, and will include discounts and fully-funded spots at technology summer camps. All participants will have the opportunity to have their work featured on our website.
